Upcoming Events Federal Hiring Practices are Evolving - Stay Informed

The 小蓝视频 Career Center is closely monitoring the rapidly changing environment with federal executive agency hiring and its impact on our students and alumni.听

There is a hiring freeze affecting most executive agencies that has been extended to July 15, 2025.听There are some exceptions (e.g., for National Security agencies) but most internship and full-time hiring has been paused. Our advisors are here to support students and alumni facing internship and job loss and uncertainty. Explore the events and resources below to identify options, build networks, and prepare job search materials.听听听

The NY Times shared that听听has partnered with the AFL-CIO, Democracy Forward, and other organizations to power听Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Response Network.

The new network will provide legal consultations with pro bono lawyers for fired or laid off federal workers - union & non-union.
